CareProvide Story

CareProvide was founded on a simple belief: families deserve better.

When our co-founder and CEO, Jill Kidwell, spent years caring for her husband through the progression of Parkinson’s disease, she experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate the healthcare system. Every transition—from hospital to rehabilitation, from therapy appointments to life at home—required constant coordination. Finding reliable caregivers, communicating with medical providers, and ensuring everyone understood the plan of care often fell to the family.

Along the way, Jill met Jennifer Cua, a registered nurse whose clinical expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment made an extraordinary difference in her husband’s care. Together they recognized that home care could—and should—be different.

They envisioned an agency where nursing leadership is involved from the very beginning. Where caregivers are thoughtfully selected, trained, and supported. Where communication is proactive, families stay informed, and care evolves as needs change. Most importantly, they believed home care should focus not only on helping people remain at home, but on helping them continue to live meaningful, connected lives.

Today, Jennifer serves as CareProvide’s Director of Nursing, leading our clinical oversight and supporting both clients and caregivers. Jill brings the perspective of a family caregiver who understands the emotional and practical challenges families face because she has lived them herself.

Together, they have built CareProvide around the principles they wished they had found during their own journey: personalized care, experienced caregivers, nurse-led oversight, seamless coordination, and genuine compassion.

Today, CareProvide serves older adults throughout Anne Arundel County with one guiding belief: exceptional home care is personal, coordinated, and built on relationships. Every decision we make reflects the experience that inspired our founding and our commitment to helping people remain safe, independent, and engaged in the lives they love.

That commitment is reflected in the way we care every day.
